Derek Radcliffe

I have lived in Bingley, West Yorkshire since 1976 when arrived to study Physical Education at Bingley Teacher Training College. On graduating in 1979, I went on to teach in Bradford for just over 42 years before retiring. Throughout that time much of my life revolved around sport which meant my passion for art took a back seat until fairly recently. It has only been for the last few years that I have been able to spend more time to create the majority of my pieces of work.
I love to vary the subjects/topics of my artwork although I do, as a Freemason, have a particular interest in creating designs based on masonic symbolism as you can see. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I did completing them. The main mediums I tend to use are pencil, pen and ink, acrylics and chalk pastels, although I do like to try others on occasions.
