Tapton hall visit

On Monday I had occasion to go to Tapton Hall in my Masonic Golf Association role along with the Secretary. The occasion was to attend the presentation of the magnificent Harewood Trophy to the he winner of the Harewood Final, Vinit Patel. The presentation was made by V.W. Bro. Brian Littlejohn and I had the privilege of responding to the toast to the visitors. After making arrangements with the W.M. before hand I was allowed to give a plug for WR Masonic Arts and Crafts. To this end I took two paintings and Edvard Kiurkchian brought two of his, all of which were put on display at the festive board. During my plug Edvard generously gifted Vinit with a choice from his two paintings. Vinit was delighted and selected one. At the conclusion of the festive board the display generated much interest and, although it was not the intention, one of the paintings, by Terry Lambert, was sold.
